EGYPTIAN
EVENT EUROPE 2002
in Winterlingen
"The
Best Straight Egyptian 2002" was a mare from Egypt!
This Egyptian Event Europe (EEE) was completely
a highlight in the long lineof the show events since the foundation
of the Pyramid Society Europe on 2/18/1987. Egyptian arabians were
registered to the event not only from Europe ( Italy, Schwizerland,
Austria, Belgium, Holland, England and Germany), but also from Qatar
and Egypt. Visitors from Australia, Kuweit and all just mentioned
countries came to the event of our Straight Egyptians. Our special
thanks are meant for H.H. Sheika Lulua Al Sabah and Mr. Amjed Al Jaffery
for taking over the patronage of the event and of course also the
Fam. Letsch that aligned the show and organized it at best.
The very exceptional winner of the show was the Egyptian Al Badeia
Stud from Dr. Nasr Marei, Cairo. With Tasabeth Al Badeia
(AB) he won the class of the 2 j. old fillies against two typey, tremendously
moving young mares from the Escher stud of Rosenberg (GR Amaretto
by Classic Shad wan and GR Mariana by Madallan Madheen), who had all
the same number of points. The unique top mare from the Al Badeia
Stud, however, was Gelgelah Al Badeia. A now 7 j.
old mare with surmounting Arabian type, big dark eyes, best neck and
very good body, she is a striking beauty ! She received the highest
number of points of the show, won the Championship, became Supreme
Championesse and finally was named “Best Straight Egyptian of
the Show".Gelgelah is a mare to the measure take ! She was already
national and international championesse in Egypt. The breeding of
the mother Anhar Al Badeia with the well known US imported stallion
Imperial Madori ( O. Omar Sakr Stud, Cairo) ,so far known to me, was
done twice. Two fillies were born ( Gelgelah,1995 and Galagel,1996),both
of high quality. Gelgelah has presumably still a little more type.
The mother Anhar goes back over the father Amir AB and Kayed-to Morafic.
Amir AB, which was sold to Qatar, was also the father of the multi
champion Farid AB, an extremely fine and model-full stallion, today
the Pasha of the stud and the darlingof his owner Dr. Marei. The mother
line of Anhar AB goes back to Bint Yosreia, a full sister of the well
known Aswan. Anhar in 1994 was covered with Imperial Madori, the stallion
bought from the Imperial Stud in the USA. The interesting at this
stallion is , that he is a son of Imperial Madheen, born in Germany
and worldwide known as the stallion with successful offspring on all
continents of this earth. Imperial Madori showed over the years that
he fits very well with the Egyptians of the country. Meanwhile Imperial
Madheen arrived even after his excursions to Canada and Argentina
in Egypt, in the country of his ancestors.
In the class of the 4-7 j.old mares stood at 2nd place Remarqable
KA (by.Marquis I, O. Kullmann) and behind that Tamina ( by Maydan
Madheen, O.Hain).
Gelgelah Al Badeia had to fight in the Supreme Championship against
the Junior Championesse, the 3 j.old El Thay Kamla,
who was named two weeks ago National Junior Championesse in Neustadt/Dosse.
El Thay Kamla by El Thay Mashour out of Kamla II, bred and owned by
Cornelia Tauschke, Grossenkneten, showed also an outstanding type
and had best harmony in her body. The mother Kamla II is one of the
most beautiful daughters of the unforgotten Ansata Halim Shah and
out of Mona III, who represents the Moheba line. The father El Thay
Mashour, the top stallion of the stud El Thayeba, is by Madkour I
(Hadban-Enzahi) out of ET Bint Kamla ( the mother of Kamla II ). Therefore
El Thay Kamla is a product of the linebreeding of Kamla II and Ansata
Halim Shah , who is the father of Kamla II and the grandfather on
the mother- and fatherline of El Thay Bint Kamla.
In their class behind ET Kamla on the 2nd place was Maydana Madheen
by Maydan Madheen, in the possessionof stud of Dr. Selva from Italy.
The yearling fillies set up the Reserve Championesse with Shabbura
HP. A bay filly with wonderful head, a perfect body with
a fine neck. She is by the national and multi Champion Maydan Madheen
out of the US mare Shaneekha, bred and owned by Preuss, Hoerden. Shaburra
HP is surely a young mare with great future. Only one point behind
in their class was placed Authentic Nabeelah by Nabeel II out of AK
Nawaal, bred and owned by R. Kolster.
The older mares were a strong class. At the top stood the 9 j.old
Samara El Naraah by El Thay Ibn Halim Shah, breeder
and owner Dr. Freimüller, Moenheim. The mother Sununu ( by El
Nowasy) has still the stallion Shaker El Masri ( father of El Shaklan)
through her grandmother Shaklana in her pedigree. Samara El Naraah
is a very typey and noble mare, with frame and very good movements.
The father El Thay Ibn Halim Shah is for the stud of Dr. Freimüller
and surely for all of us an unforgotten stallion. I remember here
also of the mare Barasha El Naarah by the same stallion, the Championesse
of the Asil World Cup 2000. At 2nd place in this group was the Maysoun-daughter
Mansoura (out of Matala Bint Marah) , owner R. Armbruster. Gameelah
(by. Ruminaja Ali, owner Dr. Selva, Italy) and Fatima XVII (by Nejdy,O.
Fam. Dirnhofer) on the 2nd and 3rd place had also high points and
much type.
With the stallions I would also like to begin with the top horses.
To breed good stallions is quite difficult. The breeding demands are
high and should be very high.
The group of the old stallions was very impressing. With MA
Alishah by Ruminaja Ali out of AK Shahgat in front, he got
the Stallion Championship and was also named Supreme Champion. The
7 j.old stallion is already very well known, got a gold praemium and
was winner of the older stallions during the stallion registration
in Aachen and already more often in front at shows. This new victory
was surely a new highlight. He showed with type, expression and best
movements, a Ruminaja Ali-son of its best. In the same group we could
see also MB Zekhiel ( by Royal Mikhiel, owner Bentschikon, Belgium),
Masri el Salaam (by Ansata el Salaam, owner Kretschmann) and Dalia
Halim (by Ansata Halim Shah, owner Kesseboehmer) densely on the heels.
The class of the 4-7 j.old stallions was also a good group. Here again
the. Kullmann family was in front, now with Tahir.
An Imperial Imdal-son out of the beautiful Tiffaha. Tahir is still
a young stallion ,we can expect more in the time to come. Mahadin
by Madkour I out of Mahameh got the 2nd place with the same number
of points, owner Al Hamra, Austria. At the Championship Mahadin was
placed then in front of Tahir and therefore Mahadin was named Reserve-Champion
of the stallions , with MA Alishah as Champion..
With the colts Al Ayad by Moheeb out of Al Mamunah
by Maysoun, owner M Wenzel, Schwienau, was a shining Junior Champion.
The father Moheeb is an El Shahwan out of Mahameh. A stallion with
very much Arabian type., at the show in Velgen last year he did already
well. He is a good developed colt with future. Ali Shaamir stood immediately
behind him, he is by Ansata Shaamir, owner Ali Shaamir Partnership,
Italy.
The Reserve Champion came from the class of the 2 j.old colts: Pyramid
Aalin by Ali Valentino out of Pyramid Set El Nil, bred and
owned by Wagner family, Ammerbuch. A typey and good moving colt with
bay colour, too. Ali Valentino proves again his very good inheritance.
Authentic Khazim by Maysoun out of the very fine and nobel Kaliya
showed also very well, he got the 2nd place in this class, owner and
breeder R. Kolster.
With the yearling colts the Wagner-family was again in front with
Al Khayyat and this is again an Ali Valentino-son
out of Bint Kahila. A splendid chestnut with a lot of expression.
A guest from Qatar came on the 2nd place in this class: Sajem Al Naif
of Ansata Shalim, owner and breeder Al Naif Stud. He is a fine colt,
he was class winner on the international C- Show in Qatar this year.
All class winners got a plaquette of the wellknown artist Van Dansik,
sponsored by the Pyramid Society. The Supreme Champions were honoured
with an original charcoal drawing of the artist Heidi Frank , also
sponsored by the Pyramid Society Europe. The breeders cup for the
best young mares, at which the owner must be also the breeder, was
sponsored by the Hain-family, Koppelow and won by El Thay Kamla for
the Al Thayeba-Stud of C. Tauschke. Pyramid Aalin and the Wagners,
Ammerbuch got the breeders cup for the best colt. This cup was sponsored
and presented by Horst Preuss, Hoerden. The silver trophy, brought
about by the stud of Schwestermann-Lawless, Swizerland/Ireland,was
presented by the sponsor for the exceptional Gelgelah Al Badeia
with very great applause to the Al Badeia Stud in Cairo. Dr. Nasr
Marei was very happy and he could be very proud! This end of the show
was the highlight and could not be better for the visitors and also
for the organizer: The best Egyptian of the show on the Egyptian
Event Europe came directly from the country of the ancestors of our
Straight Egyptian Arabians
